so, about 500ish miles ago, i got a kit from merchant auto to rebuild the fuel filter head and adapt a cat filter to it, got it all back together, removed spring and check ball. got it all back installed. didn't have any issues.
since then i have added a fass adjustable lift pump, no filters, just lift pump. it has developed a leak, running down the filter. after a few days of cleaning and watching....it wont leak with just the lift pump running, it leaks after i drive it. but from what i can see is its leaking from the primer pump, coming out the bottom, i have the seals in correct, as the primer pump works, i would think it wouldn't work if i didn't.
so, i am looking for a fix for this, i have only came to 3 ideas on my own and would like to see what you guys think, i would like to keep the filter in the stock location if possible.
1. rebuild filter head....again and hope the seals hold, maybe the housing is worn out?
2. buy a new filter head and hope the seals hold?
3.this nicktane adapter looks like the solid choice to me, has a bleeder screw and takes the cat filter as well.

any other ideas? i have seen lots of people running the stock filter head with lift pumps, maybe i just got the short straw.
oh, other thing i am 1/2 worried about would be deleting the fuel heater, it gets pretty cold here, the truck is garaged but spends about 10-12 hours a day outside when im at work.
thanks
