So this may have been asked before but i could not find it. My fuel gauge a while ago started acting up and going all over the place, so i thought it was the sending unit that crapped out on me. I replaced the sending unit and i thought it was working correct till the second time i turned the key the fuel gauge went past the full mark and is pointed strait down now. It's almost pointing at the E now. The gauge is acting like its not seeing a signal form the sending unit and just like the circuit is open:confused:. Anyone have any idea what is going on??? Thanks Christopher

If the needle pointed down at one point it's more than likely your cluster failing. Common issue and a decent amount of threads on them. If you know your way around a soldering iron you can buy the replacement 'stepper motors' to fix it yourself. If not you have to send your cluster off to be repaired.
