I installed a 52 gallon Titan tank and airbags back in March. Followed the directions supplied with the tank and the sending unit flange leaked like a sieve. Finally got correct info from mfr and no more leaks.

Now I've noticed that every time I fill up my fuel gage drops to E after 30-60 minutes later (while driving). It stays like that for 45 minutes to an hour and then the gage returns to the correct position. It is still accurate and functioning properly, it just does this every time I fill up now.

Anybody have any ideas on what is causing this transient issue and how I can fix it?

Thanks in advance

Does this because it seems no change in fuel level because the factory tune is setup to read for 26 gal tank. Rescale the fuel tables and put in 52 for main tank size and it will read better.

What he said. The LBZ seems to be the worst, but if it doesn't see enough change in the fuel level in X amount of time it will default to empty assuming the sending unit is bad. Rescale it in the tuning for the larger tank and the problem should resolve itself.
