did they change the part no. on the ac delco.. i just got one and they gave me a tp3012 instead of 1298. looks the same. didn't notice till i got home.

The tp3012 is the new improved filter. It has a updated internal design. I thank it is a little more expensive than the old 1298b filter. I do not know the exact difference but it suppose to be a better filter.

ok thanks. it was a chevy dealer so i don't know what else it would be for. it was $50. which i thought was alot.
