Frustration

There is a white lifted ECSB Dmax of about an 04 in vintage that I always see around town dropping black smoke and I never seem to time the lights or traffic right to run him.
So this morning as it was raining, I put the tow tune back in and headed to Lacombe to help Simon with the race motor. I'm on my way home and wouldn't you know it, I manage to get next to him at a red light. And there I was-stuck with the 50hp tow tune. Of course as usual, he walks on it and leaves me in a cloud of black smoke. Lame!

When the F*%# is EFI going to come out with DSP For the LBZ?? Or someone else for that matter. This is really starting to piss me off!!

Thats why i just leave my race tune in all the time its really fun in the rain to

If someone likes to experiment, I think I can DSP2 an LBZ.

By using the Intake Air Temp sensor, I think we can make a switchable tune.

We don't run DSP tunes on any of our trucks

well I cant argue that lol. I have seen as much as 22 mpg with pats race tune averaging 19 usually when I Was running it. so one tune can do it all

Didn't you have a LLY at one time , the dsp works on them and you can have 5 tunes

I'm where you are now Mereniuk. Running a McRat race tune-my other race tune isn't very streetable

the only time Im not running race mode is when I am pulling the toy hauler, and even then its a pretty big tune, lol

Haha I agree Tommy. It doesnt rain much here but for some reason its rained like crazy the last few days. Reno's total annual rainfall will be calculated from this week alone :rofl:. I lay into it at 50 mph and its like ohhh im sideways

I was merely implying that you had the best of the Dmax motors at one time that would utilize a dsp switch properly and it appears that you are regretting getting a lessor vehicle now
