Hope this is the right place to ask this. I need a front output seal for the front drive shaft. Mines leaking now. I've been in 4wd alot lately from snow plus the miles it has now it's leaking. Anyone know the part number for it? Thanks!

Did you ever get the rear output seal to quit leaking?

Yeah for awhile. The yoke has some deep pits in it after I cleaned it. Only time it leaks is when I got a load and the truck is squatted. Pushes the yoke in and then it will have a really slow drip. Gonna replace it after the snowing stops. The bushing inside isn't in bad shape but will replace it since you gave me the new one. The front seal is leaking worse than the rear. I've had to be in 4wd alot from the great weather we had this winter.

If you are talking about the front seal for the front drive shaft, it is a GM only part and needs a special tool to install it. I have the part # for the seal at the shop.

I got mine from CARQUEST before and I believe NAPA told me they could get it as well. It wasn't much cheaper though, and like Mike said you really do need the tool to install it. I did mine without it, but it was a real PITA with the tool I rigged up.

Got the part from Napa and fixed it today! My custom tool was a 2" socket with a extention to put it back in. Actually worked really good. Original one was a pain in the ass to get out as it didn't want to seperate. Went with the instructions that Henry had posted up awhile ago and worked great. Thanks for the info!
