I have talked to a few people and i am wondering if there is any truth to this. They say the bolts for the front pump should be silicone. well we put silicone on them bolts. But i had some people tell me to put washer on all of them bolts. Something about the increase in line pressure pushes fluid beyond the bolt. Is there any truth to this.

Allison uses thread locker on the bell housing bolts to keep them from leaking. I always use a dab of silicone on each one for the same reason. Has nothing to do with pressure.

After looking at another allison my front pump is in correct. I here GM makes a new upgraded seal for the allison transmission i guess i will have to try it and hope like hell that works. I am running outta options here. Its leaking from the converter area.

Mike i have noticed that some of my front pump bolts already have washers around them. The onces that dont have washers when i backed them out there was tranny fluid that came outta the holes that didnt have washers on the bolts. So now im going down to by some washers for this thing. Hope that will help something
