HI, Guy's I'm trying to get some leaks fixed be for snow starts Flying around here. I have front axle seals leaking. I have the front drive axles to the wheel bearing I'm trying to get the shafts out of center housing I prayed with 2 bars put a slide hammer on one side would not move. Now working on RH side used a hammer and brass punch I could not get them to move. I had them out be for then they came right out. Any other ideas on to get them out.

Thank You

I put 1/4" small chains and binders on mine and used a slide hammer, still took some thumping.

I'm sure a couple ratchet straps would work as well.

The c clips or spring clips wear a deeper groove into the end shafts over time and make the a real cock bag to get out.

If that doesn't work, you'll have to take the housing apart and knock the inner axles out and replace the bearings as well.
