I have a friend that has an 08 F250 that wants to add some go fast goodies. Does anyone know if there is a forum site for PowerStroke guys? He wants to get an idea of what's out there before he buys anything.

P.S. I tried to get him to buy a DD but he wouldn't listen.

Spartan Tuning seems to be the hottest out there.

Powerstroke.org is one site. So is thedieselstop.com, and thedieselgarage.com

Thanks for the info guys. I will pass it along.

Wes I may send you a PM later to get some phone numbers so my friend can call and talk to these guys about their mods. He has a fifth wheel camper so he is looking for better performance while towing.

X2 on the spartan diesel tuning, I have installed it on a couple of 6.4's, as well as a few Edge box's, and there is no comparison.

Winston's brother Tyler just bought one too. The best option for DPF and cat delete is Flo~Pro, they have full 4" and 5" kits that delete everything for a very good price, they also have 4" downpipes. We are dealers for them.

River City Diesel is using SCT to make custom tunes, from my research they are making the power that Spartan is but they can't seem to tune the trans to hold it as well. Spartan is spot on with the trans tuning and is getting the stock trans to hold on trucks with 580+hp. We are dealers for them as well.

I can't wait to see how Tyler's truck does with the Spartan, intake, and exhaust at the track and sled pulls.

Thanks again guys for the great informaiton. I will pass this on to him.

By the way, I thought eliminating the DPF and cat was for "off road purposes only." I really don't care. However, I don't think he wants to be hassled by the dealer if he every has to take it in for work. Please correct me if I am wrong.

It is "for offroad use only" and against EPA regulations to remove the cat and DPF. But if you want to get good mileage "offroad" it is a really good idea to get rid of them. If it needs warranty work done you can remove the Spartan tuner, re-install the factory exhaust and take it in.
