Friend bought a LB7, new owner checklist

I posted a vin check for the specifics on the truck (Thanks again)

injectors were replaced about 30,000 miles ago.

it is his 1st dmax.
he said it looks like the thing is all stock.

besides the normal fluid change stuff, and adding gobbs of power and roasting tires, anything he should look into?

its going to be a dd and tow 4000-5000 lbs regularly.

next step is sign him up in here. he did view the vin check thread and seemed surprised that stuff was even available

Pump rub, wheel bearings, pitman and idler arms, changing the brake and power steering fluid is over looked a lot, check the resonator for cracks, check for High psi valve stems,...

Those are the sometimes over looked things off the top of my head

he doesnt even pick it up until tuesday and the trash talking has already begun.

want to go to the track and put a beat-down on the step-child.

i think i'll have to set his speed limiter to 35 when i load his 'race' tune.

Make sure you re adjust the speedometer so he think he is going 90.
