Went to put the front axle back in truck last night and when i got under truck i notice a freeze plug sitting on the cement. Its the size of a quarter. With truck running there is no leaking of fluid and i know its not out of the cp3 since no fuel is being sprayed out. Also a bolt was laying on the cement too that i have no clue were it goes. It looks like the one for a pulley but all the pulleys have a bolt in them. Both parts were laying directly under front of motor

Sounds to me like you were leaving it for the trucks part fairy... Leave it there until tomorrow and see if he brings you a dollar! :roflmao:

no but it seemed odd that they showed up after i got axle out it would be different if they fell while i was under truck working on it.

http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13261. the second set of pics with the freeze plug in it is what that actual plug i found looked like same color and all. Now i replaced both cp3 pumps last year about this time with reman. lbz pumps.
