Frame length on extended cab 2500 vs 3500 dually?

Hello everyone. I am curious if the frame length is the same on an extended cab 2500HD vs an extended cab 3500HD dually? I have been pondering a different project, I guess just to be different. I have been thinking about converting my 3/4ton LLY over to a 1ton. I'd purchase the dually rear axle, bed, 1 ton springs, torsion bars, etc. I have access to a lot of that stuff at a pretty cheap price. But I was curious if I did go that route would the bed line up with my current frame length.

I wouldn't mind just leaving it a short box. I don't know if I'd want to get as far involved in stretching it to a fullsize dually box. Did they even make a shortbox dually?

No, they only made a short bed dually in 1998-2000 old body style IIRC.

GM never made a short bed dually duramax.
