LLY: FPRV questions

Im getting the fprv code and i was wondering how do you go about checking it to make sure if its working. All ready replace with (used)stockers in both cp3s. Had II modded ones in both of them before. Also how do u check the 2cp3 ppe control box. I was getting sAme code with the II regs. Now I didnt change the both regs. at the same time. Changed one on outside cp3 first and still got code then changed one in valley and still getting code. So I'm thinking its the controller. Truck still runs like a top.

Little FYI, your using the wrong abbreviation. (and before anyone jumps in sayin those aint proper, im looking at the generic terms we all use here on this site)
FPRV = Fuel Pressure Relief Valve.
FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator.

I believe you asking about the FPR and what code are you getting?

What code exactly are you getting? What is the rail pressure at idle?

p0089 is the code. I havent checked rail pressure yet

Absolutely, that is way too much pressure IMHO 12-15 psi is the sweet spot

well here is my prob. at WOT my pressure gets pulled down to 10-12 psi. AD rep told me to try cat filter since i was draining the filters to fast for the pump to recover. Did that and still doing it. Looks like im gonna put a class 8 on it this winter.
