Would any of you guys that really know what you're doing (Mike - MMLMM, Rob - IdahoRob, Pat, Larry, Tony, etc) be able/willing to dial my FPR in for me (WD modded LBZ reg on LLY)? I'm willing to pay if needed, it's just driving me nuts. Tony got it close for me, but it's not dialed in and I've never had any success figuing it out :baby:. The problem is, I've been getting random flared shifts, and I was blaming it on the 6sp VB being run by a 5sp TCM. Well, I did some logging today, and I have found on the flared shifts, rail pressure is 2,000-3,000 PSI over desired (on th ones I've logged so far), whereas on most other shifts (the ones that don't flare) the rail pressure is MUCH closer (500-700 PSI on the high side, other times within 100 PSI). From this data, my guess is that the TCM is requesting defuel, but becuase the rail pressure is higher that it should be, it's not getting the expected defuel, causing the flair. Depending on how the modded LBZ reg works on LBZs, I may need to re-visit tweaking it when I FINALLY get my LBZ swap done, but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. :help:

A few of those mentioned above tried to help me when I first got the regulator, but since then, it was determined that it was sticking. Since WD sent me a replacement and I installed it, it hasn't had the problems it had originally that where preventing anything from working (rail pressure would randomly tank to the point where the engine almost stalled, then spike WAAAAY the heck up).

Thanks in Advance

The 2-3 and 4-5 are the worst, but other shifts often flair to some degree or oave other shift "abnormalities". Light throttle is usually ok, moderate to heavy is where it usually flairs. I have some more logging to do; I didn't do a ton of driving yesterday; I'll be doing mroe logging and marking the log when it flairs.
