Last couple tanks i noticed my fuel mileage was down a couple mpg's. Well i got to poking around and found out why

the black thing im pointing to that the red wire plugs into, leaks like a siv.

Question is, do i need a whole new filter housing now? Or is there a fix?

Is it coming out through it or around it? If it is coming out around it, it is the o-ring that seals it and can be fixed with a filter head rebuild kit.

Its coming out from around the bottom of it. Not up through the middle out the top. So a rebuild kit will do it?

That's the fuel heater power pass through. You will have to pull the filter head off and rebuild it to reseal it. Also make sure and replace the o-ring under the primer pump as it is probably hard and getting ready to leak.

Shouldnt be any codes. Just un plud the water sensor and it will no longer send a light for water. Im lookin at deleting mine here real soon once im do for a filter change. Dont need the factory since my lift pump has it.

I took mine off (since there is no room over there) and now run the AD filters, and an inline cat filter (based on the writeup by one of the guys on here) works great.

there seems to be a bit of confusion. I thought yall were deleting the fuel heater cord plug thing. Im not going to delete the housing cause my fass has no filters.
