Anybody on here living up there? I am thinking about applying for a job up there and just want to hear any opinions of the place good or bad. I was up there for a couple days 4 years ago, but that's it. This will be an apprenticeship, so money could be tight. It's just an idea I am kicking around. Thanks. :baby:

Dan I'm not sure if Sheldon is on this site but I will talk to him today as he has a house up there that he rents rooms in. He rotates out of there week in/out.

I would apply for the job if I were you. What trade is it in?

It is a Millwright apprenticeship. I would be just starting green, but that's ok with me. It will be a change from what I currently do, but I think that's what I need. So yeah, I'm gonna apply.

That is one town that wont feel any effects from any global recession..regardless of what happens to Europe. China & India all want Impala's and Buicks and they is sure as hell gonna need oil.

im sorta up there, I commute from edmonton. Im a heavy equipment mechanic.. its hard to get a job a green apprentice, just fyi.
