In a daily driver, I don't think they will last longer, but it really depends on how much power you are making. Are they stronger? Yes. Are they more durable? I think the ring design is limiting when compared to a cast piston with a keystone ring and a steel insert. The problem comes when you run more power than a modified cast piston can hold or more miles than a forged piston is good for. I don't think anyone knows either for sure yet.

They are in my truck... we shall see. I figured my heads will come off at 50k (if not before, :eek: ) to investigate. Will be paired with 60% overs and big twins.

I swear i saw a video of your truck on youtube that was uploaded today....

RPM how do you figure that? How would a piston skirt wear more on one type than another? "IF" I was going to drive it I would run a cast pistons. "IF" I was going to make big power I would run a forged piston. Everything in a race motor is a give and take. You can't have the best of both world's. Jeff
