Question: Ford 6.4's can run 600+hp on stock trans?

O stock trans i would dought mike L will no about that but stock turbo maybe because it has two. if it still the torque shift its possible with the right tranny tune. But i call bs because i havent heard of any baddass 6.4 yet
Ya I heard somewhere someone had a SCT DPF Delete tune that was on a dyno I think last week at almost 600... tranny was fried after it though. Dont remember where I read it.
I'm sure with enough nitrous anything will make 600hp for a few sec:rofl:

I used to have a 6.0 and the 6.4 is based off of the same block. The problem is that they only have 4 head bolts per cyl. I think it was in 05 they upped the size and tq spec on them but that doesnt help. All it does is distort the head and block more. With just a good tune I was able to lift the heads on my 6.0.
Theres a link on thedieselgarage that had a 6.4 at t/s and they were saying fuel only but on dunbars numbers the 2nd set is for power adders and Mike came and said that the 2nd set was for adders and some are saying the truck was fuel only, since there new server update that post is missing in action.
Same truck Mike said just was dynoed 2 different days Wayne,Will type to mike to repost it.said 1st day truck was not right so they took it off dyno and brought it back the next day.

I understand that, but I am saying that the thread I posted was not done at TS, or on Dunabr's Dyno. Either way, IMO even 481 is impressive....for a Ford :baby:

Page 11 or so the drive shows what he has. The person I talked to said it was a stock trans and engine. Reading showed that the first run was a 400hp run with an sct run and then he ran a tune from someone that was there. Sounded like a dyno tune. The graphs are all over the place.
I still doubt the high 400 run.
