Flexplate broke?

Well think flexplate broke today on my new lb7. Truck was idling today , it has a Suncoast 1054 in it, then all of A sudden at idle it sounded like something was loose like a heat shield vibrating. When brought above idle sounds perfect but at idle it is loud. Does this sound like the plate to anyone?

Check for loose converter bolts.

I thought about that also mike but for one the tranny has been in for year and half also if bolts were loose would if stop when brought above idle or would it be constant ? Like I said it goes away above idle.

Well the flexplate was cracked one of the bolt holes cracked and a quarter inch piece broke out and caused all bolts to loosen

It wont be to bad to swap them out. I hate the TC bolts in these Allisons though!

Yeah Tc bolts are a nightmare. The part that sucks is I just bought the truck two days prior from a buddy for a pretty penny and it only has fifty thousand miles on it although itnis built for pullin
