Flex plate??

Mike I forgot to ask you this during our chat today.

What flex plate should I run?? I thought I heard you say somewhere not to run an ATS plate with a suncoast converter but I could be mistaken.

I gotta get this all sorted out so the sponsor can get it ordered.

I do not like a solid flywheel to replace a flex plate. Problem with this is; the solid flywheel just became your torque converter index to your pump and if the dowl pin alignments are off you are in trouble.

so should I just keep the stocker. Iwould like to upgrade it if neccessary so that i can send it in to be balanced with the rest of the motor.

me too but I know the rule is there for my own safety so I might as well do it. We also need a tranny blanket as well.

I will be testing a new Gale Banks flex plate here shortly on a certain truck. I liked the look of this plate when I first saw the picture. I will have it in a few days for testing.

you'll probably be getting another phone call. The build will be started in december if all goes as planned so I still have some time. Keep us updated on how you like it. Banks and ATS were the only two I was aware of.

You speak the truth :hug: I do beat on Casper harder because I'm not the one that has to fix him when he breaks.

When we got back TX last year and we where at the track. Pat wanted to call it a day, because the air was so bad with smoke with all the bad fires.

But, the :witch: got her way and I got to spray him to my best past ever :fluffy:

Any update on the banks unit mike
