Flat bed trailer rental

Anyone know of a company that rents flat bed trailers that will support our trucks weight? uhaul has an auto trailer but the vehicle has to weight 4000lbs or under?

I never found anyone, just buddies that had on, I just bit the bullet and a bought a tandem dual 35 footer. I wouldn't go puttin them on a car hauler I don't think those little springs and hubs can take the weight.

Yikes, this thread brings back memories. :eek:

I put my old Dmax GMC 2500 CC/SB on a tandem axle rental trailer once. I thought the poor thing was going to drop to the pavement. It was a real piece too, light-duty axles, no brakes, 2" hitch, c-rated tires, the works. I had to haul the truck from Bakersfield to Mike L's place. Good times . . . :D

I guess the point I'm trying to get at is: DON'T do that if you can avoid it. Borrow a HD trailer or flatbed from someone if you can.
