Flash issues

. Every time I try to flash the truck efi goes through its motions but only takes about 10 seconds and pops up with this window. I'm guessing laptop issues? Anybody ever had this issue. Thanks in advance

Try using "try alt keys"

I've had 2 or 3 issues like that. Everytime when I update my scan flash firmware and black boot it seems to cure the issue. But is try alt keys first

Btw I'm using v1. Was to cheap to pass up figured it would be a cheap learning experience. Gotta get it to work first tho ha

Yeah that's probably not a bad idea. I did check the box allow alt keys and it does the same thing

After doing some research I'm guessing v1 is not able to update firmware on, is this correct?

Just wanted to update you guys just in case you ever run into this. My problem was windows 8 access problem. If you have windows 7 or 8 you have to log into the computer as administrator in order to allow efi to flash your truck. If you don't know how to do this google it. It walks you through step by step. :thumb:
