I thought id post this for anyone having the same problem. I have trents turbo kit and i have NOTHING bad to say. The kit is excellent quality and i would recommend it to anyone. The problems im having is the v-band clamp that goes on the outlet of the turbo. i could not stop it from leaking. Heres what i did i bought a garlock 2" gasket. These are from 2" 8 bolt high pressure flanges good for 1200+ pounds. The gasket fits almost perfect between the 3" turbo outlet and hot side pipe. You have to cut the center bigger and you have to trim alittle off the outside. I did it with a dremel tool. It fixed my problem and where my 4202 was making around 38 PSI of boost im now making around 44PSI after fixing it with my single CP3. I can try and get some pictures of the gaskets tomorrow if anyone need to see.

If the elbow on the y bridge does not seal good does it produce a high pitch noise?

Yes it can. I could hear mine around 10 PSI as a whistling noise. Under WOT it was more a high squeeling noise. I dont know about the flanges warping from welding because mine look fine. Even if you do get the clamp super tight i dont think you can ever stop it from leaking 100% without some sort of gasket. My old downpipe clamp used to leak all the time and i even tried a few diffrent clamps. Im a pipe fitter at work so that where i got the gaskets.
