Did you report it to Ebay? Quite possible a scammer got ahold of minicagirl's (the canada ad) account.

Ebay is so full of scams, that I will seldom order anything directly off Ebay anymore.

I will find out who is selling it, and communicate directly with them or not buy it.

I was watching 6.0 gasser a few years ago for a project. I lost the bid and then I saw the exact same listing under another ID. What caught my eye other than the same picture was saying I would pay Ohio sales tax. The original seller was from Ohio and the scammer was from Pennsylvania. I reported to the account holder and she had it deleted. Then I received a second chance offer on the first ad. That's was the bigger scam at the time.

And don't send money Western Union!! Who still falls for that?

So far I have had good luck with Ebay. Only thing I get ever once in a while is an email telling me to update my credit info.( Little bit of SPOOF Mail, as Ebay calls it)

My buddy bought a Chevelle off E-bay, sent a 3K$ deposit via Western Union. Drove down to LA to pick up the car, and there were three other trucks with trailers waiting. They got together, knocked on the door, and found out the car had already been sold months ago. The lady remembered one of the people was taking pic's of the car and she still had his number. Nailed the guy, but each one was out a 3K$ deposit.
