We only have 1/8 mile. Ran 4 times...Consistent 8.8xx!!!???
I was launching around 10psi...Any recomendations!!!??
My trans shifted a lot smoother once i got rid of the de-fueling with PPE. EFI live is coming next week hopefully...

p.s.- I stayed in 4wd the whole way down, but would i benefit switching out of it half way down??? Would that hurt anything??? thanks guys!! Just now getting into it since the new trans :woott:

Don't switch out of 4wd, even if you tried I don't think it would switch anyway..:D with a built trans you can put more power than that PPE standard, I would either upgrade to PPE hot +2 or go EFI. I usually leave around 8-10psi and it works pretty good, what is your mph in the 1/8? With the mods in my sig my truck has been 12.65 @ 105 with an 8.0x 1/8th time @ 85ish I believe? I think you have outgrown your programmer if you are wanting to go much faster.

Good luck with it :thumb:

It is night and day as long as its the right tuner. You definitely need to upgrade the standard. If it was me I would get efi live before the hot+2 just because u can tune it to your needs. U can make 500hp pretty easy once the trans is built and fuel upgrades are present.

My truck put down 494/956 on a dynojet dyno, plenty of guys have made more on a stock charger and injectors but Im pretty happy with the performance went 12.65 @ 105. I would definitely be looking into get EFI if you want to go drag racing, and get it from a good tuner, Creatures of the Night performance offers Idaho Rob tuning, good guys there and Rob is one of the best in the Duramax world.

Get rid of that avatar!!!!!!^^^^^^^^^^^

Back to the OP work on your 60 foot times. Every tenth in the 60 foot is good for 2 tenths in the quarter.

It's a new season, it stays:2birds:.... Took you longer than I expected to see that:rofl:

OP don't feel bad. My twin turbo truck only managed a 14.03 in the quater... I really need to get my rail issues figured out:mad:

I ran again lastnight....1.9x 60' consistently running 8.85-8.87. Went down on tire pressure, dropped keys further, launched 10psi...tracked straight this time. Ready for edition live this week!!!!:thumb:
