Well, after going to a 1/8 mile track near by a couple of times I finally went to the 1/4 track last night. I couldn't launch for shit, I am dissapointed in myself. At least I managed a 12.9 at 103.60. The water box was spread so wide that I
Couldn't get around it and kept cuasing me to spin even on 4x4. All of this was with IdahoRobs street race tune and no weight reduction. The only thing I removed was the tailgate and spare, I even left the 20's on. I am going to grow some balls and put the race tune and do some weight reduction and head back over there. I would like to thank Rob and George (bigdipper) for all there help. Here's the slip.

R/t .129
60' 1.829
330 5.290
1/8 8.225
Mph 82.98
1000 10.792
1/4 12.968
Mph 103.60

I hear you buddy, almost every track I've gone to has it very similar to that. You just can't stay out of the water. Even the diesel only events in my area seem to do it that way. Most diesel don't need water on the tires. That's a good starting point you will surely do a lot better with a little seat time.

Congrats on the runs!

We have the same problem with some tracks up here with the waterbox. The idiot sprays water the entire width of the damn lane. I think I may start putting "No water" under my number on the windshield and window from now on.

Congrats!
When I am forced through the water box, I pull up almost to the staging lights then back up. By the time you pull back to stage, most of the water is gone. Our local track has gotten better at brooming the puddle away when a diesel is coming.
