Went to the track this weekend for the first time and with IdahoRobs race tune, the only thing local to me is an 1/8th mile track and I had the only diesel rig there. I was consistently running 8.11s with 1.78 60ft times until I aired the tires down a bit and got a few 1.70 60fts which got me down to 8.02 at 84mph.

This was all on diesel only and I found a few chips in my compressor wheel a month ago more than likely from the methanol injection I was running, must have happened when I raced a buddy a few times, I noticed I'm getting 2-3 psi less than what it used to be. I'll have a rebuilt IHI on it shortly though ready for next month.

Congrats! That's moving for sure. I see all these new times popping up. Most are with Idaho Rob tuning. One day i'll have a Rob tune and really light the wick on my truck. :D

How do you guys get your 60ft times so low. I was down to 35 in front and 30 in back. I would spin the tires for 20-30ft. My best was 8.08 at 89.41mph with a 1.91 60ft.

Thanks guys.

I was running 265/75 16s which I'm not sure if its good or bad for 60ft times but I was also at 35 front and about 28 in the back with the 1.70 60ft times. I also didn't spin a bit, just chirped off the line.

Here are two of the videos with a 1.78 60ft.

it could be alot of things the track prep could be horrible because when our track opened up i had less then 30psi in all my tires and i would light them all up on a 220 tune! and get different tires i had mud tires on too bad choice!

Congrates on the time!!!

Congrats on the times! I still can't get mine to leave hard or as hard as I would like as of yet without spinning the tires to much. Higher boost dosen't always translate into more power but don't know what your seeing for boost either. I hit 32 psi for a max. I'm sure you'll go faster. I'm running 285/75/16 AT's on mine but might try a set of 265's to see if there is a difference.

I'm hitting 24-25 psi boost max. Launching right around 12 psi for the better times, it could be a bit higher though, I only glance at it a few seconds before I'd launch.

I know mine fluctuates some but not to that low. I usually don't look at anything but my boost at the line then egts at the end but log just about every run so I can sit and watch it.
