First snow of the year

Well here in iowa we are getting our first snow of the year and sofar there is 8 inches on the ground cars in the ditch everywhere with some slick icey roads. I learned that race tunes are not meant for winter driving. How about duramax ice drags? What do you socal people use for winter tires?:rofl:

well when i woke up this morning at 6 it was a brisk -14 it has warmed up since then, now it is a toasty 0

i dont think its very funny kat. we are suppose to get lkike 6in tonight. i guess we could do snow sled pulls . that sounds like fun. or even some snow drags. maybe i should stud my tires :rofl:

My tires are pre drilled for studs...... Lets get the drags set up after interstate 80 opens back up from the little rain we just had with 20 degree temps.

Thursday morning it was -16 C (about 2 F), I think that's the coldest it's been so far. Now it's just hanging out around the freezing mark and raining and snowing. PPE 160 + Freezing Rain =

Here in the Midwest we got already 12 inches totally and we have a winter advisory for other 12 inches until tomorrow afternoon. It will start with ice-rain and goes over to snow ... yeah!!!!! good forecast
