Goin to pull my truck tommarrow would like some pointers. What gear, tow haul, low range, manual shift? Idk about pulling this is my first time. Thanks in advance!

Tow haul, 4x4 low, put in "m" 3rd gear, clamp your leaf springs, make some suspension stops, lower your front end, get a gradual roll then hammer it, get out of throttle if it starts bouncing..... Have fun

Be sure its in low range .
Jack the truck up to let the torsion bars up and down or you will strip out the bolts .
Get your weight as high as is allowed . If they allow 8000lbs weigh 8000lbs .

Either pullin at Lawrence county or raccoon twp. I have cognito tie rods and Ppe brace kit. So I should pull in low? Would be cool to see a few people there to
Yes 4 lo, 3rd gear, tow haul get er moving them hammer down, one bounce easy, 2 bounces better slo up, 3 bounces better quit cause the 4th bounce usually means boom, and ill prolly be at shippensburg sat night:thumb:
I may try to hit racoon township some time this year though . I will have to look you up if I go .
WE will be at lawrence co fpp pull tonight (6/15/12). lawrence is a track that can be different night to night so its hard to say a correct setup for it. Tire style/size, weight, hp level, front locker all have a part in what pressrue to run in tires! other than that 3rdgear, low range, t/h.
i would pull with tow hual off... thats just me.... we have videos of my truck on back to back pulls and it seems to do better with tow hual off
Well didn't do to bad in the 6800lb exabition took it to 305ft for 4th and in the 8200lb class took it to 255ft for 3rd. Well now it's gonna get expensive I think I'm hooked lol
