Quick Q, if I install an EGR block plate and a finger stick now, until I get some money together for an EFI Live tune will I need to remove it once I get the tuner?

No.... I would just install the blocker plate and live with the CEL until you get it tuned..... The light might not even turn on.... Don't cut up your wires
You can run EFI tunes with the fingerstick in place. Ran mine like that for a while, then cut it out for my buddy.
