Finally made it to the track this season.

Ended up with a best of 13.3X. a 60ft of 1.8 and MPH of 100. Not too bad but i'm not satisfied. I think theres more left. I feel like I should be able to click at least a 12.9. I'm running Rob's race tune. Truck was run with everything in the sig.

not sure what the 1/8th time was. I will have to check the slip tomorrow. I was talking to someone who will forget more than I will ever know that told me he doesnt think the wheels and tires are the issue. The MPH just arent there. I should be around 103 to 105.

your lift and tires are the problem... all of that added rotational mass and extra weight overall is hurting you.

Great runs, but big tires and catching all of the air with the lift are def not helping.

Not to hijack, but how can I contact Big Dipper? I would like to talk to him about a trans for my 08LMM

Thanks,

Paul

If you logged the runs, send them too me and I'll take a look. I agree, you should be faster even with the tire/wheel combo. Many are with the same tuning.

Well Rob took care of me and sent me some fresh tunes. Went out to the track tonight and put them to the test. Came up short of a 12 again. Heres the run down.

E.T. = 13.10
60 FT = 1.80
MPH = 102 MPH

These numbers look a little more healthy than last time but I think its time to accept that im not going to run a 12 with a tune alone. At least the way I sit right now.

Any ideas on getting 60 ft time down? I aired down the tires, have traction bars. Rob told me to clamp the springs but I forgot about them. Do you guys think they will help?

they will help drastically... also pull your tailgate, i went for 1.70 60's to 1.64-1.68 just by pulling the tailgate
