Finally getting the trans built

So the bottom end of the engine is done and has been balanced all the other parts are well... everywhere haha need this thing called time to finish it, finally got the funds to have the trans done and thank god George "Big Dipper" is only like 30 min from me, I'm pulling the trans after work and dropping it off tomorrow I can't wait, the build will have billet input and hub and 1056 converter and whatever other magic he dose. Ordered the aluminum rear housing for the transfer case and got the lml dip stick tube to do while I'm there, it's gona suck having all that trans and a mostly stock engine lol

Yeah I'm curious to see the street manners it will have compared to the stock set up I have a few friends with his build that I have rode in but never have driven, my trans has 200k mile of abuse and I can tell it's starting to get finicky and softer shifts

30 mins away? I'm from dewey delaware 10 mins south of Rehoboth lol. Getting mine done soon as well. Truck limped twice this week while passing a car lol she's ready.

Yeah I have limped mine 3 times going into 5th on the hot tune but it has held up just fine otherwise I still drive it everyday and tows good I just have that little voice that keeps me from getting on it to hard when driving it now, I will say out of all the parts I have bought this is the hardest to do, it's really hard to spend this much $$ to rebuild something that still works and drives lol

George's work is top notch, great guy to deal with. Truck drives and shifts like factory on the street and rips at the track, very happy with it.

I got the trans in and put about 100 mile on it today and all I can say is it is amazing, the shifts are flawless and pulls so much stronger, I haven't gotten on it at all want to let it break in a little plus the wet roads won't allow for any spirited driving
