After this past season of running a 3.0 charger with big sticks and dual fuelers I would have thought for sure I bent the rods. Well I finally got around to doing a compression test today.

Here's the results

#1 -390
#3 -380
#5 -375
#7 -365

#2 -380
#4 -390
#6 -365
#8 -365

Seems 6,7,8 might be on there way but still seems fine in my book.

Not too shabby. Must be a darn good setup you've got there (and good tuning).

Not too bad Travis , mine didn't seem to shorten any @ low 700's but def once above 800 they shorted real quick :D. what kind of pulse width have you ran through it with and whats your injector % ?

sounds like its holding up well ...........kinda weird how some hold well in the 700's and others dont in the 500 or less range

I will say that i do not beat on my truck on the road. I hardly ever go past 50% throttle. I do beat on my truck hard at the pulling track though.

Its all in the tune. IMO, his 60%ers are helping by keeping pulse and timing way down, hence lower cyl pressure...therefore the rods are holding.

I say congrats! Keep up the good work!

my motor doesn't follow this :thumb: it has to do with pure luck... obviously 40* timing and 3500 PW is a disaster waiting to happen but the fact remains some engines are stronger from the factory remember travis has not always ran those injectors, Travis how long have you been running that combination?

I have had the injectors in since october before that it was 3300pw with a handful of different charger since 2005:D
