Stick with the factory Allison spin on. Seems like on some aftermarket filters the magnet covers a lot of holes up.

I've used Allison and Wix filters on the tranny with no problems. Same on fuel filter and oil filter. Its most important just to keep them changed at correct intervals.

ALLISON trans filter, same as the factory filter but costs $8 instead of the $30 or so that many dealers want for it. For fuel I use the AC/DELCO RACOR filters as they are a dual element filter filter that goes above and beyond what the WIX does IMHO.

What part # is this?...I've been using Racor #PFF50216 & PFF5544 on our '02 & '07 without any issue...BUT, I've tried the PFF50216 on 2 different '02s and had sealing issues...Don't know what the deal is...

I'm running the PFF50216 on my BURB with the 01 DMAX and have no sealing issues whatsoever.
