Anyone ever have their stock filter freeze and crack at the bottom by the water screw? My question is how the hell is the water getting past the fass 2 mic filter and seperater?

I usually run diesel Kleen however I have not started becsuse it has not been cold. It snuck up on me and first two days of cold and first snowstorm and this happens. I started it then walked around to unplug it and it was blowing fuel all over. Ridiculous. I'm just pissed the fass did not pick it up.

TX of course
Is fass a water separator? I'm not surprised it got by it, but enough to freeze and crack the filter is a lot. How many miles on the filter? Was it the newer plastic ones?

I refuse to use those stupid plastic fuel filters. I've seen too many problems with them.

We used them for a while but now we only use ac delco filters on them and we don't have near the fuel related problems as we used to
