Filter bleed port thread?

I was looking to get a fitting so I can hook up to my filter head and run a hose into a bottlw for bleeding my lift pump. Anybody know the thread size on it? 2011 lml

Why would you want to bleed it?

Assuming you're talking about the factory fuel filter head, it is a 10x1.5 thread.

I believe merchant sells a fitting that will adapt it to 1/8" NPT

Probly to get the air out after a filter change without making a mess.

Yes instead of making a mess and missing any air

I always use my lift pump without using the screw and wait a minute to start after a filter change with no issues.

I recently put a UDP filter adaptor on with an 0749 cat filter(the big one) and you have to bleed it or you'll crank for 1-3 minutes.
