New here, this is my first diesel truck. I picked it up in August of this year mostly stock.

Here's a pic of the Duramax the day I got it.

It was pretty ugly. I like the clean and simple look. The truck needed injectors when I got it so off it went to Josh O'Connor at Smokin' Diesel in Grain Valley, MO. They did a great job and they're very reasonable on prices.

Here's what I've done so far.

PERFORMANCE
New injectors
AFE Intake
PPE Boost Valve
5" Magnaflow Exhaust (just ordered)
LML Driver's side manifold (going on soon)
EFI live DSP5 by a local tuner

INTERIOR
Weathertechs
Cubby in place of air bag switch
Cheap Indash
MagLite Roof Mount
PPE boost gauge with steering column pod

EXTERIOR
CM door handles
CM tailgate handle
CM stock mirrors
CM bumpers
CM grille
07 bed (original bed was rusted)
New rear bumper plastics
Billet bowtie
eBay billet grille
AVS flush vent visors
5% tint all around
Undercoat/Scrape frame
SwingCase toolbox
Truxedo LowPro
Rear Fender liners
NNBS 2500HD badges
LED third brake light
Spyder LED taillights
VLEDs 5K switch backs
Clear bumper lights
Double blinker mod
Morimoto 6000k HIDs
Recon LMM cab lights
285/50/20 Falken Wild Peaks
20x10 Hostile Havocs
1.5" rear spacers to match front
Rigid Industries flush mount cubes in rear bumper

SUSPENSION
3" eBay drop shackles
Pulled overload leaf
Full de-crank up front
Moog pitman/idler arm/bracket
Rough Country Tie rod sleeves

Here's how it looks now

When it had a chrome rear bumper

Here's the current rear bumper with the rigid lights

That's how it looks currently. I just ordered a 5" magnaflow straight pipe last night. I also have some Bilstein 5100s and 295/55/20 Nitto Trail Grapplers going on December 9th. Taking the truck back up to a leveled stance with 1" drop shackles. Still gotta clear coat the shocks so the winter doesn't rape them.

Future plans are-
Air Dog 2 165
Tunes from Rob or Kory
ProFab air horn
ProFab downpipe
Edge Insight
Tinted windshield after inspection
Small stack for a rear exit tip
I've got a 20" light bar for the valance

I'm sure there will be more once I think of it lol

Damn, that's a good looking truck. :thumb: Leveling it soon?
thanks. Tomorrow it's going back up to a leveled stance with Bilsteins and 295/55/20 trail grapplers

Sweet ass truck... Whats the other red one in front of it? Looks pretty sweet too

That's his old 1500, had a cammed 6.0L and some other stuff. I'm sure Fiesty can tell you more.
Yep, my gas truck I sold last week. My favorite truck I've had. I had a pretty stout 6.0l in it.

Nice truck!

Installed trail grapps, Bilsteins, new bump stops. I put the overloads back in and set the shackles up one inch to a 2" drop. I left my stock shackles at home and didnt get to put them on. So for now I'm running stock keys cranked, stock rear with 2" drop shackles. It has 2" of lean and I don't like that much. I'll get the stock shackles back on eventually.

Looks good man, was waiting for this thread all day. Makes me want to lift mine up for the winter... Were your other tires trash after they took them off?

I know of the original owner of the truck through a buddy of mine. dont let this kid feed ya a line of you know what. most of the mods were already done to the truck when fiesty bought it. Cmon kid. ya aint gotta tug on anyones leg here. :thumb::thumb::bsbag:

"Most" of the mods?? It came with a ppe boost valve, an afe intake, cab lights, and tunes? Oh, and some "new" 30 over injectors that had balance rates outta whack that i replaced... not sure what your point is by creating an account and posting this.. everything else I did myself or had to fix. such as the pillar gauges that didn't work and the cab lights and audio that were wired by twisted wires and blue painters tape.

ok.

Brb dewwot

Thing looked ridiculous when he first bought it. When I saw he bought it and posted pics on another forum I thought to my self, "well at least it's a duramax not a fgt gas truck" Was glad he didn't waste any time taking all the fgt mods your buddy did off the truck. Looks way cleaner, which is why I bet your buddy is mad. It's okay to be mad, owner of my truck wishes he could buy it back too now that I made it not look like a fgt truck, fgt.

Brb fgts gonna fgt.
brb next time don't be such a fgt.

This truck was owned by Patrick Tilton from cameron. Look em up. Pictures prove its the same truck just put a new grille and wheels on it. This kid is known for feeding everyone a line of bull. You can have your gf and lil buddies jump on here and defend you but most of us know what was really done. Patrick worked his ass off to build the thing and then you take credit. I ain't got time to argue about your bull. We know.
