Well there isnt really a best fender out there unless you have a custom made one. dont expect all the body lines to line right up as you will have to do lots of sanding to make the gaps right. Glassworks unlimited and Hannamen fiberglass seem to be some of the better one. i have hannamen on my truck and they lined up nice but still needed some work. i also had galssworks on my old 1500 and they needed about the same amount of work.
Your gunna have to cut all the spot welds to get the outer fender off the inner fender, they dont jsut unbolt and come apart. You will also have to do a good amount of trimmin on the inner fender to make the fiberglass fender fit properly.
Also, expect spider cracks and possible cracking of the fender its self down the road. ive had mine on for three years and had them re-painted this past summer due to spider cracks and one fender starting to crack up by the window.
