My corrected formula ONLY works for stock tunes with stock fueling tables. And like I've always said, it's just a diagnostic aid to help get a better idea for whats goi,g on, it is by no means a definitive end all be all test for injectors or engine health. If your engine is running fine, then I wouldn't worry to much about it.

10-4, my stock tune is a 40 hp tune, and is considerably louder than the rest, always has but anyhow, my truck has been hazing a lot and rattles from time to time, is the main 1q_t higher than normal?

Ferman, most over look the requirement of stock tune and fueling tables when checking rates....:thumb: Most don't have a stock tune in there DSP5 tunes.

The tune you did for me several years ago does have the stock tune in the 1 position and my rates only changed when I installed a higher output at idle alternator just recently and for the better....

As long as the fueling rate of your modified tune is in line with what a stock tune would normally run you will get the correct information. Some guys tunes do not run consistent with a stock fueling rate at idle. Not all guys tune are like that.

Also pf note, it only works with stock injectors. Once you go oversize, all bets are off. I keep bone stock fueling in my tune for the most part for anything under 20mm3 of fuel and 50 mpa of pressure.
