Hi guys, was playing in the snow alittle with my gmc 2500 that has a 12 inch lift, in 4x4 and heard what I think was the cv joint starting to go. Took it on the highway this morning and once I hit 40-50 mph it started to feel like I was hitting mini speed bumps. I want to say it's a cv but I would appreciate to hear what else it could be, thanks!

Your wheels aren't packed full of snow are they? Perfect time of year to think something is goin on due to snow packed wheels throwing wheels/tires out of balance

I had that issue a while back and it was the wheel bearing. and since you sound like you have big tires on that truck i would check them.. just my 2 cents..

If its the cv axle you should be able to grab the shaft and shake it around and it'll rattle at one end or the other.

i had my rims plugged with snow a few weeks ago, I couldn't drive over 40mph without feeling like the truck was going to blow apart lol.. clean your rims and go from there imo
