I can't get better than 1.8's and I've tried and tried. Even with my tires down to 30 front 20 rear anything over 12 psi I spin off the line.

I was kinda shocked myself with that time. THe truck weighs about 7400lbs with me in it, as far as mods go, its a fairly long list. There is a thread on here where it follows the full build of the truck. It was put together at EPR, and runs there small triple set-up. I have not done much with the truck at all this year, that was the first time out to the strip all year. I have been playing around with my ZL1 most of the summer.

my other 60' times were in the low 1.60s
the truck makes around 850 rwhp, just was lucky enough to be on a good track on a good day I guess

Not calling you a liar or anything, but those numbers are amazingly good.

You have a pic of a timeslip?

best ive done is a 1.64 on 20" proxes 1s.

It's tied into the track prep and how fresh and prepped the tires are.

If you want max effort for street tires, shave them down to the minimum legal depth first. This is an old AutoX trick. Tirerack will shave new tires when you buy them, but they don't carry Toyo. I had them shave Kumhos? a few times.

That being said, IIRC, Kat cut a number of 1.6x's in Wendy on Proxys.

Here's another issue, that sometimes tracks only prep the first 100' or so. We have had Casper blow off all 4 tires when we got out of the VHT area. So you get a good 60, but don't set a new best.

time slip picture

here is the time slip, I left it in the truck after we raced that night and I just got the truck back today. I was wrong on the 60' time, as you can see in the picture. FYI we were working on launch techniques and the 1/8 mile... not a full pass obviously.

out of the hundreds and hundreds of 1/4 mile passes back when I used to race my truck, generally mid/high 1.7x (with a few random low 1.7x thrown in there, never was able to get a 1.6x) was pretty consistent. 285 BFG AT's on heavyazz 18" Eagle Alloy wheels. Stock PY0's and stock 245 tires about the same times.

Looks like you let off way before the 1/8th?
