Question: Fastest 1/4 on street tires

Just out of curiosity , what is the fastest times in the 1/4 on street tires ? ET & MPH ? What size and what tire were you running on tire pressures etc .

IIRC, 285s. One time, he ran 11.40s with his truck still setup for sledpulling. Hitch and all...


12.14@111 is my best on Toyos. 1.60 best 60ft

Not that it's anything amazing but my full weight ECSB has gone 11:35 at 122mph on 305-50-20 and Nitto 420s. 1.70 60'

Skintback aka Sonny has gone 11.45 at 125 with a 1.81 60 ft on his full weight ccsb. That's even with the baby's car seat and tool boxes on it. 7300 lbs.

All those times are impressive, especially those on AT tires , those things are heavy . Local 1/8 track has an event this Saturday with a $3200 payout I believe where no slicks or drag radials are allowed , only street tires . I wish my motor was back together . I'm gonna go check it out Saturday , should be very interesting ! Our 4x4s would be awesome for this type of event .

I went 11.6 @ 120 on 305/55/20 Toyo AT2s. I think the fastest I've been on my 305/50 420s is 11.2 but I've only made a couple easy passes on them.
