Yesterday my turn signal started blinking fast like it had a light out on the passenger side. Every light is good none are out. I have even turned the flashers on and walked around to see what light isn't working compared to the other side. I know somewhat how the multi function switch works. But why is it blinking fast?

Don't need a ticket this weekend at sheid diesel.

Burnt up part of the headlight housing, light fell down onto the turn signal housing and burnt a complete hole in it. It was my bright light. Does the turn signal blink fast when a headlight is out? Like I said it would only blink fast when the lights were on.

blinkers shouldn't be affected by the headlights. Sounds like the electrical nightmare is about to start. The best bet would be to take the light out and see if it causes the lights to blink fast or not.

I have LEDs in the back I'm positive none of them are out. And the two turns in the front I replaced the 9002 bulb not the small one yet, but this doesn't explain why they only blink fast when the headlights were on. Has anyone had a headlight burn out? Does the turn blink fast when they are out to warn you?

it's the LED that is causing the problem. Try replacing it with a normal bulb.

You probably had a resistor LED which makes the flasher think there is a normal bulb in there. The resistor went bad, and now it cannot "SEE" the bulb and thinks its out.

I hope so I will check it out. I will put the originals back in. These were not cheap LEDs though I haven't had them but a year maybe. They better not be bad hopefully the resistor can be replaced.

I bought a signal flasher relay years ago before you could get led's with resistors for my LLY and never put it in as I traded the truck in. Still got it in case someone else reading this with the same problem needs one.

you can install a TRIDON LM487. I ordered mine from Rock auto. No resistors to worry about and works great. Don't worry about rock auto saying it does not fit the 2500HD.
