Fass question?

I just installed a Fass. And it seemed to take forever to prime. And once it did it almost sounds like it is surging, not a steady hum. I dont know if this is normal I've never had one before.

Mine sounds with a hum like a old kitchen timer or a electric air pump. Talked to FASS they said that our trucks have a duhickey in the tank that will slow down the pickup so the pump cabotage a a little and to try a bucket test to see if that was the problem if the bucket test fixes to install a sump.

Just take 10 minutes and install a sump. I've got a bean's sump feeding my fass 150 and not a single problem. Takes 5-10 seconds to prime

Make sure the feed and return lines are not swapped
