So I finished my studs and gaskets job last night and when I hooked my FASS pump back up to the battery when I connected the negative terminal the pump instantly turned on and kept running with my key in my pocket. I ground the pump to the front fender and it works correctly with key on power. Any ideas what I did?

Be sure you are hook to switched power if that checks good check the relay really the only two things it could be.
Yeah, I hooked it up exactly how I had it before I took my truck apart to do the job and it worked exactly how it's supposed to. It works the way I have it hooked up now it's just a little strange that grounding it to the fender would do anything diffrent than grounding it to the battery.
