Fass lift pump questions concerning gauges and stock filter

I put in a fass 150 and I'm still running a filter in the stock location. I'm running a cat filter in the stock location. Should I keep running one there? Will it hurt flow or cause any concerns? Or should I delete it with a fass bowl or just take the filter head out and connect the hoses? Also I put a pressure gauge on the actual lift pump. Does it make a difference having it there or should I put it up top in the engine bay? I know the fass bowl has a port for fuel pressure gauge. Any recommendations guys? I always try to get the best performance and functionality out of all the work I do. Thanks!

It will not hurt anything by leaving the Cat filter in the stock location. The FASS pump will push through it just fine. Think of it as additional insurance. Putting the fuel PSI sensor on the FASS pump is fine also. It will let you know if the pump is working or not.
