Fass install/Fuel Lines

Im putting my lift pump in today, but haven't done the plumbing, i was just wondering if steel reienforced hydraulic line would work for a fuel line if you were to get teched at a drag strip, pulls etc... sorry if this is a dumb question, but if anyone has any experinces or thoughts please post... thanks

They will never tech your fuel lines , I just used the normal hose that comes in the kit , basically rubber hose rated for diesel fuel . The fancy lines will work too
but are not nec .

If you have access to those hyd hoses for cheap/free, I woud do it as they have better wear protection from the HD rubber on them. Otherwise the regular rubber fuel line will work fine.

thanks, i think i was talking to a guy who runs a gas truck and he said something about they arent allowed to run rubber lines, but it was at the tavern so not quite sure on what all he said... but yes i have access to make all the press fittings, just wanted to know what other people thought about the idea.... Thanks for all the help
