Put in 10 gallons in a completely dry system. Pump ran , got quiet, bled out some air, no start. Pumped the filter deal 10 million times, fuel and air and foam. Disconnect power to pump, prime system, no start. Remove gas cap, prime system, starts:confused: I will put in more fuel as soon as I fix the coolant leak issue:( then will have a better idea but just thought it was weird to have to remove the cap, I can hear suction when I do so I know its not venting, maybe just a bad cap who knows.

That 260 moves a ton of fuel. Where do you have the return for the pump run to? The filler neck? I would get some more fuel in the tank then start checking for leaks on the suction side of the pump.

I am sure it needs more fuel, system was completely dry. It is returned in the filler neck for now. After the coolant deal I kinda just concentrated on that and left the tank issue alone. I need to figure the vent issue out either way. It shouldn't put that much suction on the system or the tank will collapse over a period of time. I will keep working on it but must fix the coolant problem first.

Right now its the plumber not the plumbing:rofl:
We found one clamp seaping at the tank sucking in air. fixed that and I still think its loosing its prime somewhere because this morning I had to pump the filter about 5 times-I do have all glow plugs unhooked and it was 60* this morning but I think it still should have atleast tried to start. I will check some more tonight.
