fass 150 and drawstraw

I just ordered a fass150 and a fass 1002 suction kit(drawstraw)
was wondering if there is anything special to it on an lly. Also how well does the drawstraw work on the lly? Heard the stock pickup is to restrictive and has 1/4 tank issues and that's why I got the fass 1002 drawstraw kit.

I have the AD150, with the suction kit, I put mine at the rear of the tank, since the lift pump return is thru the fill tube, less air bubbles. I have zero 1/4 tank issues. Just my $0.02
