That's badass. One of our places is on the other side of town and I love roaring our big tractor down the main street. It just pisses all the citified people off. Here's one I took taking a 4040 back to the barn from the tire shop.

we don't live near any big towns, but it is fun moving combines during bicycle races, for some reason a 30 foot head will cause the bicycle riders to get out of the road, and up next to the fences. haha :D

I always move over and let my farmers by. Delivery trucks dont win against a 30ft combine or 8-wheel tractor pulling a huge cultivator/planter.

Well i wish yal would send some rain down this way!!! Its as dry as I can remember. All of our corn that wasn't under pivots has been scorched, we had to completely stop planting peanuts because the moisture was about 10 inches deep under dry dirt. All we are doing now is dusting in Cotton in hopes to get a rain sometime soon. This shit sucks!!!

X2. We are hurting for rain now. I sewed some red top cain for grazing about 3-4 weeks ago when I had good moisture. Last week before we planted cotton I kicked the dirt and found no moisture 7" down. I said eff it and plowed the weeds under. I hate this crap I should be cutting coastal hay next week or the week after but the s*** is burning and quit growing.

The very odd person. Most people like the fact it's a field and are happy when they see us farming is another year. The odd person asks if we have to make so much dust. The land across the road from this sold for 1.2 million/acre so it's pretty valuable to sit on. Wish we owned it.

Thats good people are understanding and appreciate the view and also the hard work farmers are doing. Not to classify all N.Y.'ers but I would bet there would be alot more hostile attitudes from city people here in a similar circumstance;)

Cool pictures. I would rather put up with a couple of days per year of tractor and combine noise than have backyard neighbours.

Where in Mississauga are you farming?
